Where's my brain?

I think I may need some sort of screening, perhaps a MOCA? Anyone? Anyone??

I'm getting uber forgetful lately, I'll just go ahead and attribute it to stress. Prime examples of my forgetfulness of late include: forgetting to turn off my oven, I've done this multiple times. I find myself wandering through my apartment, getting near the kitchen and wondering why it's soo freaking hot in that area-yeah, it's because I FREAKING LEFT MY OVEN ON FOR THE PAST 2 HOURS! Ugh.

Also, I've been forgetting to put on deodorant prior to leaving the house, thankfully, I keep a spare deodorant at work. I'm sure my co-workers appreciate the spare that I keep, I know I feel better not running around all stinky.

Perhaps it's time for a mental health day.

Transformers.....

Ohhh..did you see it yet?? I did!! It was delicious!! Chock full of special effects and good ol' fashioned summer action. Will it ever be an Oscar contender? Hell no...but what's the point of summer if we can't have some movies that are just fun? GO SEE IT! I'm going to see it a second time-mostly because I missed some one-liners and other parts of the movie due to laughing and a potty break. Note to self---next time...do not order a drink during a LONG movie.

Irish Men/Red Heads.....

Hmm...I've no idea where I developed my fixation on red heads or Irish men..must have happened sometime in high school...
I know, I'm a total dork...but I just can't help it...scoff if you must, But I'd totally poke all three of these men, flip 'em over and poke 'em again. And, yes, I do realize that Damian Lewis is not Irish....point in fact, I do believe he's British...but I'd still poke him!

Changes

Well, I turned 29 last week.....it wasn't terribly exciting-probably because I chose to not really celebrate it. I just haven't felt like celebrating the whole birthday scene these past few years. However, I am going to party it up for my 30th! My co-worker tells me something about how I'm in the house of saturn ( I think) and that means big changes, that usually people experience a big life change when they turn 30, something like job change, buying a house, or getting married. Personally, I'm pulling for the house thing, but I'm quite certain my mom is crossing her fingers that I get married. I keep telling her not to hold out for that one-but she sure is a stubborn one.

The move to ARRRRlington went well for the most part. Except when I woke up sunday and realized that I had put my bedroom furniture in the wrong room! The roommate and I spent the rest of the day switching out rooms-quite the pain in arse considering he's got a king size bed and I've got the queen size sleigh bed and matching dresser/nightstand etc. However, with the bigger room, I can get a small chair set up for TV watching in my room and reading and all that jazz. Hopefully that will allow me to preserve my mattress a wee bit longer.

The drive to work has been painful thus far, stupid traffic on I-30, 360, 45 and all that jazz. Please cross your fingers that I survive this commute and manage to start getting up earlier than 6:30am.

Mmm..Fajitas!

Today, I've got quite the craving for fajitas!!! It's too bad that my wallet cannot support my craving, instead my wallet is pointing me in the direction of the 99 cent menu at Taco Bueno.

However, I do believe they cater to a craving for fajitas....or at least something fajita-like in quality.
